# South Australia state nomination 2026-27 for applicants from India

UNCERTAIN - reported open. 2025-26 ROIs closed 2 June 2026 (official). Third-party trackers report the 2026-27 program reopened on 26 August 2026 with a new State Nomination Occupation List (widen.com.au 31 Aug 2026; firstmigrationservice.com 9 Aug 2026, which itself flags the date and a '491 onshore-only' rule as unverified). As at 2026-10-07 the official migration.sa.gov.au news feed shows no 2026-27 opening or allocation announcement (latest items 25 Jun, 2 Jul and 13 Jul 2026), and the occupation list page was reported taken down pending the 2026-27 list.
