# Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485) for applicants from India

The subclass 485 lets recent graduates of Australian institutions stay and work after their course. Since July 2024 the age limit is 35 and the English requirement is IELTS 6.5, with stay lengths tied to the level of qualification.

- 35 years old or younger at application; research Masters and PhD graduates may qualify while under 50
- Completed an eligible qualification in Australia meeting the Australian study requirement
